I Love Missions More Than Ever

This is my beginning attempt of others this week in sharing why I love missions today more than ever. There are a number of reasons...

1. Experience and exposure
Michelle and I have been blessed to experience first hand other countries on four continents of the world. We've seen bustling cities to disease-infested slums...and everything in between. The work of missions is intense as it is vast. And, I can say without a doubt that there is as much to do spiritually for mankind now as ever. Trips beyond where we live changes how we view life and enables us to visualize how needed the gospel message is...in tangible presentations.

2. Relationship and partnership
As our experience has led us in different parts of the world, our relationships have grown... Some of our best friends in all of the world are missionaries. And, they are all over the place. (Thank God for increased technology that keeps us connected.) Once you hear the passion of a missionary, someone who has literally given up comforts of family and surroundings, to reach a group of people not like you with problems that make yours seem small, you want to help them...partner with them. I have yet to meet a missionary that I did not want to support!

Just a couple to start with. More later...
