Another Great Awakening (part one)

In light of the approaching Fourth of July holiday season and the state of affairs in our nation, God has been speaking to my heart regarding what is needed most in these days. It wouldn't take us long to articulate the many opinions we possess about our lack as a nation...with gas prices soaring, concerns in the flood zones of our states, the part we play in fighting terrorism abroad, the national economy and indebtedness, frustrations related to homeland security, and on and on. But I personally believe there is a greater concern than all of these...the spiritual and moral decline of our country. Join me this Sunday as we address the biblical subject of revival and great awakenings. This Sunday, June 22nd, we will talk about why we need to be awakened, and next Sunday, June 29th, we will continue by discussing what it will take to wake us up.
