The Christian's Most Important Weekend

This weekend represents the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ. For the Christian, it is the biggest weekend of every year. It's most significant because of what it means... The Apostle Paul wrote in 1 Corinthians 15:14, "“…if Christ wasn't raised to life, our message is worthless, and so is your faith.” So, we want to celebrate this Sunday @ Lakeside Assembly... this Christ who died for our sins and who was raised to new life on the third day so we could have abundant and eternal life, too. Our ensemble will sing and we will continue on this theme of transformation. Our Sunday morning experience will be followed by the annual children's Easter Egg Hunt. Come back Sunday night @ 6:00 if you can as we share communion together. It's going to be a weekend worth participating in. Bring the whole family...and Michelle and I look forward to seeing you.

Pastor Darren, we love to hear about your children. They are a heritage of the Lord. Your children have sure grown since you have been at Lakeside.
