Two Ingredients that Success Can't Live Without

Sure, there are many ingredients to a good success story.  And, I'm certainly not one to name them all.  However, there are two that I can identify, because I've witnessed their impact: FAVOR and HARD WORK.  And, the consistency of these two needs is equally essential.  In other words, we never run out of the necessities for favor or working hard.  Let's break it down...
Any organization has the definite need for favor.  Whether you call it client buy-in, customer loyalty, preferential treatment or just plain ‘ole earned trust, one can't get very far down the road without it.  In spiritual terms, God grants this unmerited approval in special opportunities, turnarounds, and even promotions.  Favor creates a platform upon which a potentially healthy future can be launched.  And, because I believe that every good and perfect gift comes from Father God, it is my conviction that these kinds of blessings are given to us as if to say, "Now, go work at it."
Hard work is such a required part of the process that without it can cause one to fall out of favor.  Trust is eroded when laziness is shown.  Respect can also be lost in ill-prepared work or when strategies aren't strong.  So, working hard is a big deal to keeping buy-in alive as well as seeing vision become reality.  Robert Strauss said, "Success is a little like wrestling a gorilla. You don't quit when you're tired. You quit when the gorilla is tired."
You want to be a success...?  Surround yourself with those who will believe and support your vision.  Then, work hard and smart in light of that favor.  I'm sure more elements are needed for success, but favor and hard work are certainly two that success can't live without!

In light of some successful outcomes, who do you need to get around the vision and what projects need to be tackled today?
