Choosing Your Luggage for the New Year

The convenience of air travel... And, then to place your luggage on the scales, only to be charged extra for overweight baggage. Entering 2011 can be much like our experience at the airport. We might think, the convenience of a new year... But a positive approach can quickly collapse under the weight of unresolved issues. You can choose your luggage as you travel into the new year. You can be purposeful and strategic. Take time today to think about it. Here are some suggestions:
1. Spend time in prayer about the new year.

2. Reaffirm your loyalty and devotion to Christ.

3. Ask for forgiveness from the person (s) you've wronged.

4. Forgive who you need to forgive.

5. Thank those who have blessed you in 2010.

6. Read the book of Ephesians and know where you stand.

7. Write a growth plan.

8. Choose travel companions.

9. Start off the new year by sharing, serving and giving.

10. Fix your mind on the good report.

God's plan for you is to prosper you and not to harm you. So, join with Him and have a blessed new year.
