Your Greatest Contact

They’re stored in emails…and on cell phones. They’re important for business and pleasure. It’s what any successful salesperson needs and any faithful friend has. They are called…contacts. It’s a network of information and associations. Someone said it like this: “You’ll be the same person you are five years from now accept for two things: the books you read and the people you meet.” Contacts are valuable to everyday life. Thus the creation of Facebook…the privilege of "friends" that you didn't know you even had or lost contacts from long ago. (Remember when it was the "Rolodex"?)
There’s nothing like having them ready at a moment’s notice. And nothing can be more frustrating when there’s one that can’t be found. It’s immeasurable what lengths most would take to get the real significant contacts.
But it doesn’t matter how many you have or who you have listed in your personal address book, if the most important isn’t there, the others don’t matter. Contact with the infinite Creator of the universe is the most powerful, challenging, and rewarding experience available to mankind. And that contact comes by praying. Someone said that a life of prayer is a life of continual contact with Eternal God, all that He is and all that He wills for His creation.
And, what's so cool about this Contact... He's always available at a moment's notice!
