A Family Altar Covenant Agreement

Last Sunday morning, we gave all families present an opportunity to join with others among the Lakeside Church family in a covenant agreement. This agreement consisted of a daily commitment to spend time in reading and/ or quoting a Scripture portion and talking about it. (See previous post on how this is done.)
The covenant agreement reads as follows:
I promise with God's help to make every effort to build a family altar daily that my family may contribute to a great awakening in my church and that there may be a moral incline in our culture. My signature stands as a covenant agreement with others in my church family through the last day of 2008 with the opportunity of renewal the first Sunday of 2009.
If you would like to join with the many families that signed this covenant agreement and you haven't had an opportunity to do so, it is not too late. We will have the sign up sheets available next Sunday, or you can contact the church office and come by to sign as a family. See also the church website to hear the challenge from last Sunday at http://www.lakesideassembly.org/ and click on the "media" tab at the top of the home page. The Reformation begins here!
