Another Great Awakening (part two)

I don't know that I have been more aware of the Church's need for another great awakening than now...and consequently, neither do I remember a time when I've personally been more passionate concerning this need. With the moral atmosphere of our nation seemingly declining by the day, it is evident that the Church is asleep to a great degree. I was blessed by the discussion in our most recent small group gathering as individuals bore their hearts to reveal the need for personal revival...as they shared their frustrations of being constantly busy with the work week to the intense pressure of compromise coming from nominal Christianity and a secular society. This is where it starts, speaking of personal revival and a church-wide awakening. We must come to grips with the need for a course correction, a renewed love for Jesus Christ and an energized desire to see others turn to Him with reckless abandonment. Yes, it is beginning. Let's not stop here. More on this later.
