Mother's Day Tribute - My Mom
Abraham Lincoln said, "No man is poor who has had a godly mother." If that is the case, I am a rich man. My mom, Carolyn Pilcher, is one special lady. Her dignity has commanded a respect and has given her influence among many. She is determined and strong-willed, traits given by God which have carried her through some challenging times. She is godly in all respects...tenderhearted, full of integrity, loyal, dependable and nurturing. I can witness most profoundly that she has taken her role and responsibility with sincerity and reverence. My mom has proven to be a spirit-led woman. Her desire is to be compelled by the Spirit of God to act...and therefore, to honor God in all that she does. Her example in marriage, ministry and parenthood continues to have an impact on my life and inspires me to stay on track. Her love, care and support for my dad means a great deal to me. I honor you, mom, on your special day, and hold you in high regard as a Proverbs 31 woman...whose children rise and call you blessed!
