Having Fun With My Church Family

I have the greatest church family in the world. They are thoughtful, creative, energizing, inclusive, fun-loving, cooperative, engaging, and helpful...just to name a few in describing what an awesome church I am a part of. Lakeside people never cease to amaze me in the heart they have for one another, the community around them and the world. I'm blessed to partner in ministry with Lakeside Church in Oklahoma City.

Last Friday my staff took me out for lunch and we had a blast together. Last Sunday night, the church prepared a big Mexican dinner and desserts of all kinds including a tasty birthday cake. The children sang "happy birthday" in chicken language. They gave me a chicken hat to wear during the song. It was hilarious, to say the least. Here are a couple of pics of me just having fun with my church family. (I am somewhat aware as to how this can bring long term effects on my reputation.)
