Don't Make Any New Year's Resolutions!

Yes, I said it.  Refrain from the disappointing results of commitments you won't keep and goals you can't reach.  Do something more tangible...more attainable...more realistic!  Plan your growth in the new year.  Write out some doable action steps for the day-to-day.  Give God something to work with.  Put yourself in a place of cooperation.  Get in a position for real personal growth.  The last thing you want to do is come up with a list of what you want for yourself in the coming months without any real plan to get there.  Hope is not a strategy. So, pause right now and think about a plan...and, make record of it.  Then run it by some trusted individuals.  Determine if in fact it can be done and enlist some accountability.  Keep it in front of you whether you frame it or make it your cover photo on your iPad, tablet or laptop.  Review it daily.  Schedule growth into your daily routine.  Make it a priority by planning to grow and then working your plan.  Oh...and, Happy New Year!

What would a growth plan look like for you?
