The craze of the reality shows continues to rise. Everybody seems to be entertained with what is made to feel “uncut and unrehearsed”. (My personal fav is Duck Dynasty.) Interestingly, much of what we see on these real-life dramas are “beefed up” and unreal on many counts. From off-the-cuff arguments and uncontrolled emotions to the twists and turns of the unexpected, a great deal is planned…or it wouldn’t be as good…right? So, what is real anyway?
And, if your life and mine were on display for all to see, would it be deemed inspirational and desirable or boring and need some professionally directed moments to jar the audience? What does your life look like unedited? And, what needs to be edited now? Let’s work on that together…living in such a way as to honor God and encourage others in the unedited version of our lives!
