Another Great Awakening (part three)

Where does this awakening really begin? It seems that every time I click on the little "e" at the bottom of my computer screen and see one of the main national news carriers list the latest headlines, I'm made aware again of what moral decline and a decaying value system looks like in our world. Evangelist Billy Graham wrote, "The immutable law of sowing and reaping has held sway. We are now the hapless possessors of moral depravity and we seek in vain for a cure. The tares of indulgence have overgrown the wheat of more restraint. Our homes have suffered… When the morals of society are upset, the family is the first to suffer. The home is the basic unit of society and a nation is only as strong as her homes.” Another great awakening will without a doubt take place in homes and among the Christian families of our nation as encouraged by the local church. And, the conditions will be set largely from the reinvigorated "family altar." According to God's will and by His grace I will be sharing in this Sunday morning's worship experience on how to build a family altar in the 21st Century. This is an intense subject matter... and information that every family needs to hear. So, I invite you this Sunday, 10:30am at Lakeside.
