FAITH - Coming Into Agreement With What God's Word Says

Following up on a couple of blogs ago (why I believe in divine healing)...faith is essential in seeing the promises of God come to pass in our culture and lifetime. I'm speaking of coming into agreement with what God's Word says. We have already established what God's Word says in regards to healing. If divine healing is for today then why don't we see more of it in every day life? Good question. I believe it has a lot to do with our level of expectation - truly believing that God heals today. But He heals because He provided healing in the Atonement. Therefore, it is our faith that accesses what God has already provided. Jesus said recorded in Mark 11:24, "When you pray, believe you have received it, and it will be yours." Powerful words! May I make a few suggestions? (1) Become a student of the supernatural. Begin and continue to study the miracles of Jesus and the Apostles. (2) Pray more for more sick people. The more we pray in faith, the more opportunity there will be for miracles. (3) Believe that it is God's Will to heal. This is essential to laying hold of God's promises. More later...
